Gainesville man facing drunk driving charges following 1-vehicle accident

A one-vehicle accident in Ozark County resulted in injuries to an Ozark County man and a Taney County woman. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 28-year-old Joshua Hardison of Gainesville is also facing drunk driving charges in connection with the accident.

Hardison and his passenger, 20-year-old Jordan Henderson of Protem, were traveling eastbound on U.S. Highway 160 Saturday evening. Hardison’s vehicle crossed the center line, ran off the right side of the roadway and overturned east of County Road 814.

Hardison was transported by air ambulance to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield with serious injuries. No condition report was available. Henderson was transported by ambulance to Baxter Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries. A hospital spokesperson says she is currently not listed as a patient.

Hardison faces charges of driving while intoxicated, no insurance, careless and imprudent driving, no seat belt and supplying alcohol to a minor. His vehicle was totaled in the 8:05 p.m. accident.
