A West Plains man has been reported missing for nearly a week. According to television stations KYTV/KSPR, 49-year-old Mark Hergesheimer has not been heard from since Tuesday.
Hergesheimer’s fiancee reported him missing on Thursday. She says she spoke to Hergesheimer on the phone around 8:30 Tuesday morning. He said he was going for a walk at Galloway Park near their residence, but no one has had contact with him since then.
Hergesheimer is 5 feet 9 inches tall weighing 140 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes, wears glasses and has a tattoo on his right shoulder. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a camouflage hoodie and tennis shoes. The Howell County Sheriff’s Office says he has an active arrest warrant for failure to pay child support.
Anyone with information on Hergesheimer’s whereabouts is asked to contact local authorities.
