Courtesy of PEOPLEIf you’ve wanted to know more about the man in Reba McEntire’s life, you’ll want to pick up the new issue of People that comes out Friday.
In the cover story, titled “Love After Heartbreak,” Reba opens up about her relationship with Anthony “Skeeter” Lasuzzo, and how the two unexpectedly found each other after her surprise 2015 divorce from Narvel Blackstock.
Skeeter is a 70-year-old retired oil geologist and wildlife photographer who has homes in both Texas and Wyoming. The two met in August of 2017 when Reba was on vacation in Jackson Hole.
“We’re totally in love — absolutely,” Reba tells People. “I wouldn’t put up with somebody for two years if I wasn’t in love with ’em!”
The two particularly enjoy traveling together, and so far, they’ve been to Iceland, South Africa, and Italy. It’s a bonus that Skeeter’s Pottsboro, Texas home happens to be only ninety minutes from where Reba’s family lives.
While the two are very happy, Reba admits they don’t see eye-to-eye on everything: For example, she likes to text, while he prefers to talk on the phone. Skeeter wants to go back to the Arctic to see the Northern Lights in the winter, but Reba thinks it’s too cold.

Meanwhile, Reba and Skeeter plan to make a red carpet appearance together on Sunday before she hosts the 54th ACM Awards, which start at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
