Alex AlvgaKane Brown honors the unwavering female role models in his life via the music video for his current single “Good as You.”
The video features Lonnie Chavis, who rose to fame portraying the 9-year-old version of Randall, a character on NBC’s hit drama series This is Us.
In the video, Chavis plays the role of young Kane, chronicling his childhood days and how his mother and grandmother showed him unconditional love and support, despite their own struggles.
“The video is paying tribute to my nana and my mom and how they raised me. I love them very much,” Kane says.

Kane will perform with R&B/pop star Khalid at this Sunday night’s 2019 ACM Awards where he’s also nominated for Single Record of the Year for “Heaven.”
The ACM Awards air live from Las Vegas on Sunday, April 7 on CBS. Kane is also nominated for four Billboard Music Awards — that ceremony airs live on NBC on May 1.
