Bomber baseball sweeps GCT

The Mountain Home High School baseball team continued to roll with a pair of wins at Greene County Tech Tuesday.

In the first game, Mountain Home built an 8-0 lead and held off the Eagles for the 8-6 victory. Asa Smith, Luke Dibble and Garrett Steelman each had two hits for the Bombers.
Will Gross got the win on the mound, allowing no runs and striking out eight in four innings of work. Satch Harris got the save.

In the second contest, the Bombers defeated Tech 8-5. Dibble hit a home run and Austin Mize along with Gross each had two hits.
Trey Jordan allowed five runs but got the win. Jim Strider notched the save.

The Bombers improve to 12-4 overall and 7-1 in the 5A East.
