Mountain Home soccer sweeps Paragould

It was a successful trip to Paragould for the Mountain Home High School soccer teams as they out-scored their opponents 26-0 in the three matches.

The Bombers cruised to a 9-0 win to stay unbeaten on the year. Quentin Fourny had a huge night with five goals scored; Samuel Campos scored two goals and had three assists; Vini Arrelaro, Gage Slaughter and Trey Ingram all scored one goal; Koby Weber had three assists; Chris Matusiak added two assists; and Talyn Benton, Nathan Jenkins and Kevin Cramer each had one assist.
The Bombers improve to 10-0 overall and 7-0 in the 5A East.

The Lady Bombers picked up a 9-0 victory. Emma Jones led the attack with four goals and she scored on a penalty kick, Chloe Nosari scored two goals and had an assist, Lauren Helmert and Grace Beckham each scored a goal and had an assist, and goal keeper Victoria Bevel had four saves.
The Lady Bombers improve to 6-2 overall and 6-1 in conference play.

Mountain Home won the junior varsity girl’s match 8-0. Haven Klinger and Gisele Yousif each scored two goals and Peyton Fowler, Ava Obert, Sarah Vacco and Ashlin Wallace each scored one.

The Mountain Home High School soccer teams host Greene County Tech Thursday.
