The Valory Music Co.Brantley Gilbert’s new album won’t be out until fall, but there’s a new track from the project you can sample now.

The song, “Not Like Us,” is also part of a tie-in with NASCAR. You can hear it during this weekend’s Monster Energy Cup Series Toyota Owners 400, in a feature about driver Chase Elliott.

“We wrote this out on the road, and it’s got that feel,” Brantley says of the new track. “It’s funny how everybody wants to be — like the first verse says — a big dog, but when you get right down to it, wanting and being are two different things.”

“When you look at NASCAR,” he adds, “what those drivers do, there isn’t anybody in the world like ’em.”

You can listen for “Not Like Us” during Saturday’s race, which starts at 7:30 p.m. ET on Fox.

Meanwhile, Brantley’s first release from the new album, the Lindsay Ell duet “What Happens in a Small Town,” is already a top twenty-five hit.
