Baseball and softball make up much of the local Monday schedule.
In high school baseball, Cotter travels to Calico Rock, Flippin hosts Valley Springs, Ozark Mountain entertains Jasper, Bakersfield is home against Bradleyville, Viola makes the trip to Melbourne, Mammoth Spring heads to Strawberry to take on Hillcrest, and Lead Hill hosts Omaha.
Melbourne will make up its championship game from the Ozark Softball Classic, originally played in Harrison, on its home field. The Lady Bearkatz face Cedar Ridge at 4 p.m. Melbourne will later go up against Cave City for a regular season game.
Elsewhere on the softball schedule, Cotter entertains Viola, Flippin is home against Valley Springs, Yellville-Summit hosts Bergman, Gainesville travels to Norwood, Salem entertains Calico Rock, Mammoth Spring is home against Koshkonong, and Mountain View hosts South Side-Bee Branch.
