The Doors' Robby Krieger lines up brief East Coast road trip in June

Credit: Jill JarrettDoors guitarist Robby Krieger will be heading east in early June for a trio of concerts with his solo band.

The recently announced shows are scheduled for June 6 in Glendale, Pennsylvania; June 7 in Riverhead, New York; and June 9 in Albany, New York.

The Robby Krieger Band focuses mainly on classic Doors material, and features Krieger’s son Waylon on lead vocals.

As previously reported, Robby will also be performing at The Hidden Hills Magazine Hootenanny Food + Spirits + Music Festival on May 18 in Calabasas, California. The event will raise money for the charity Kevin Cordasco Foundation: Something Yellow, which is working to find a cure for childhood cancer.

Krieger will be jamming with as-yet-unnamed musical friends at the benefit. The event’s lineup also includes The Dirty Knobs, which features founding Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers guitarist and current Fleetwood Mac member Mike Campbell.
