Baseball and softball make up much of the local Friday schedule.
The Mountain Home High School softball team will be on the road as they step outside of conference play to take on Batesville. The varsity game begins at 4:30 followed by the junior varsity contest.
Elsewhere, Norfork hosts Yellville-Summit, and Flippin travels to Mountain View.
In high school baseball, Ozark Mountain entertains Shirley, Izard County makes the trip to Lead Hill, Melbourne is home against Mountain View, and Bergman hosts Valley Springs.
Mountain Home’s freshmen games against West Plains have been cancelled. The games may be made up at a later date.
