ABC/Image Group LABrett Young’s “Here Tonight” has just become his fifth number one hit in a row — and that means every single the California native has put out so far has made it to the top of the chart.
Brett co-wrote “Here Tonight” with Charles Kelley on Lady Antebellum’s You Look Good Tour in 2017.
“We wanted to write a song about living in the moment and trying to enjoy what is happening, while it’s happening,” Brett explains.
“That’s very much what I’m trying to do right now,” he adds. “I don’t think it’s fully sunk in yet that this is my fifth number one. It’s an incredible feeling and I’m beyond grateful.”
Brett’s currently out on the Miss Me More Tour with Kelsea Ballerini and newcomer Brandon Ratcliff. This week, the trek passes through Estero and St. Augustine, Florida, as well as Augusta, Georgia.
