The 3A-1 East District Baseball Tournament gets underway at Clinton. Bergman and Valley Springs get underway at 3:30, and Marshall faces the host Yellowjackets at 6:00.
Elsewhere, Norfork travels to Melbourne, Ozark Mountain hosts Deer, Gainesville makes the trip to Norwood, Salem heads to Walnut Ridge, Izard County entertains Cave City, and Omaha takes on Alpena at the Equity Bank Sports Complex in Harrison.
Mountain View’s softball team will play their opener in the 3A-1 East District Tournament at Clinton. The Lady Yellowjacketw will play Green Forest at 4:00.
In other high school softball, Flippin is home against Deer, Viola hosts Calico Rock, and Melbourne entertains Southside Batesville.
