A two-hour standoff resulted in the arrest of a Harrison man. Fifty-two-year-old Richard Nedeau was booked into the Boone County jail Wednesday morning following a family disturbance involving a gun.
According to KYTV/KSPR, Harrison Police officers arrived to find a woman and three children on the porch of a residence. Authorities surrounded the residence, and after two hours of negotiations, Nedeau exited without his gun. Harrison Police Chief Chris Graddy says Nedeau would not get on the ground, and officers had to use a Taser. Police say he was intoxicated and suicidal.
Nedeau faces charges of disorderly conduct, terroristic threatening, first-degree endangering the welfare of a minor, third-degree domestic battery and aggravated assault on a family or household member. His bond is set at $50,000.
