MHHS soccer teams get shutout wins at West Memphis

The Mountain Home High School soccer teams came away with a pair of shutout victories Friday at West Memphis.

The evening began with the Lady Bombers routing the Lady Blue Devils 12-0. Mountain Home improves to 12-2 on the season and 11-1 in the 5A-East.

The Bomber boys followed with a 6-0 win over West Memphis. Talyn Benton led Mountain Home with a goal and three assists; Joseph Spurlin and Hunter Beshears each scored a goal and dished out an assist; Trey Ingram, Vini Arrelaro and Koby Weber each added a goal; Chris Matusiak had two assists; Samuel Campos provided an assist; and Luke Darracq recorded one save. The Bombers are now 15-1 overall and 11-1 in the league.

Mountain Home will host Paragould Tuesday for Senior Night.
