Bethel University duo wins Bull Shoals Lake college tourney

The Carhartt Master College Series event at Bull Shoals Lake came to an end Saturday.

Carter McNeil and Cole Floyd of Bethel University in McKenzie, Tenn. took home the title from Bull Shoals Lake Boat Dock. The duo caught a three-day total of 15 fish weighing 48 pounds, 6 ounces.

Noah Boyett and Hunter Hanby of the University of Arkansas ended up in sixth place with 15 fish at 44 pounds, 2 ounces, and Austin Phillips and Samuel Scott of Arkansas Tech were 10th at 41 pounds, 12 ounces.

The Mossy Oak Fishing Bassmaster High School Central Open presented by Academy Sports and Outdoors is underway on Norfork Lake. Weigh-ins will be held at Quarry Marina beginning at 2:30.
