Lady Bomber softball easily sweeps Nettleton

The Mountain Home Lady Bomber softball team had an easy outing Tuesday in a double header sweep of Nettleton, outscoring their opponent 33-1 in the two games.

Mountain Home won the first game 15-0 in four innings. Chassie Whitlow led the offense with two hits and five runs batted in. Lauren Loving got the win in the circle, striking out six and allowing two hits in four innings.

In the second game, the Lady Bombers posted an 18-1 win. Bella Bevel led the onslaught with three hits and six runs batted in. Gracie Uchtman and Emily Payne each drove in two runs. Reagan Hasselwander got the win in the circle.

The Lady Bombers improve to 20-7 overall and they finish the 5A East in second place with an 11-3 record. They won’t play again until May 9th in the 5A State Tournament at Benton.
