MHHS soccer teams wrap up home schedule with wins over Paragould

The Mountain Home High School soccer teams wrapped up their home schedule with a pair of wins over Paragould Tuesday night.

The Lady Bombers were 9-0 winners. Emma Jones and Sabra Wickersham led the attack with three goals each while Lauren Helmert, Haven Klinger and Kenzie Hatman each scored one. Helmert and Chloe Nosari each had two assists and Peyton Fowler had one. Victoria Bevel had the shut out in goal.

The Lady Bombers improve to 13-2 overall and 12-1 in the 5A East.

The Mountain Home boys posted a 6-0 win over Paragould. Scoring goals for the Bombers were Koby Weber, Quentin Fourney, Gage Slaughter, Samuel Campos, Kevin Cramer and Mica Justman. Talyn Benton and Justman each had two assists while Hunter Beshears, Weber, Slaughter, Fourney and Campos each had one assist. Jose Alonso had one goal save and Luke Darracq had two.

The Bombers run their record to 16-1 overall and 12-1 in league play.

The Mountain Home soccer teams wrap up the regular season Thursday at Searcy.
