Anglers across the Ozarks will gather Saturday morning for White River Valley Electric Cooperative’s annual “Hooked on Education” fishing tournament.
Over 150 boats are expected to compete in the event, benefiting their “Operation Round Up” program, which collects and donates funds to students, local organizations and families around the service area.
Registration and check-in for the tournament will begin at 5 on Saturday morning. Registration fee is $120 for two-person teams. The first flight will launch at 7 from Pontiac Cove Marina on Bull Shoals Lake, and weigh-in will begin at 3. The public is invited to attend.
