LISBON, N.D. (AP) – An investigation into a February shooting death in North Dakota is continuing despite the weekend death of a person of interest in a Douglas County police shootout.
KYTV-TV reports Wedge killed himself early Saturday after a chase and
shootout with Missouri officers who tried to stop him for suspected impaired driving.
Douglas County Sheriff Chris Degase said Wedge had recently been interviewed by the Missouri Highway Patrol about the North Dakota homicide investigation.
