Harrison’s high school soccer teams are a step closer to earning a trip to Fayetteville, after competing in the quarterfinals of the Class 4A State Tournament Friday at Lyon College in Batesville.
The Lady Goblins began the day by shutting out Stuttgart 6-0. Harrison’s semifinal opponent will be Valley View Saturday morning at 10 at Southside High School.
Harrison’s boys scored one goal, but it was enough to advance to the semifinals as they blanked Pulaski Academy 1-0. The Goblins will be paired with Batesville Saturday at noon at Southside.
