3 area graduations set for Friday evening

Graduation ceremonies are set for Mountain Home, Yellville-Summit and Calico Rock Friday evening.At Mountain Home, approximately 254 students are set to receive their diplomas at Bomber Stadium at 8 p.m.

Among those completing their studies at MHHS are 51 graduating with honors.

Fifteen students are set to graduate summa cum laude, with 21 receiving magna cum laude honors and 15 others receiving their diploma with cum laude honors.

Those graduating summa cum laude are Jackson Scott Bullard, Jenna Claire Callantine, Kaitlin Renee Callies, Leah Elizabeth Dewey, Grace Ann Gilbert, Luke Austin Jackson, Emma Danielle Jones, Mica Arno George Justman, Shelbie Rae Kelly, Dylan Jordan Kimbriel, Chloe Mae Nosari, Conner Hickman Oxford, Allie Elizabeth Parsons, Simon Reese Podsiadlik and Kelsey Renae Rohr.

Those graduating magna cum laude are Amelia Grace Blair, Bayler Andrew Crecelius, Madeline Alexis Fortenberry, Madison Lea Goeke, Hannah Marie Goodwin, Jordan McKenzie Gore, David Tyler Hamilton, Leah Rene Hebert, Payton Jaye Huskey, Madilyn Dalane Jones, Luke Anthony Kruse, Evan Reece Matlock, Kyra Brant Pinn, Bennett Alan Pinson, Brandon Michael Pope, Beatriz G. Ramirez, Devyn Lee Slaughter, Joseph Steven Spurlin, Alena Morgan Tilley, Kiara Dawn Walton and Koby Robert Weber.

Those graduating cum laude are Trace Allan Aungst, Tabitha Alyce Bailey-Switzer, Savannah Lynn Barker, Mackenzie Lynn Collins, Keaira Raven Davis, Jenna Joy Galloway, Breanna Raye Hickmott, Ashton Alexandra Patrick, Gracie Lynnelle Patterson, Bailey Jewell Ryan, Asa David Scott Smith, Seharra Rose Spurlock, Garrett Clifford Steelman, D’an Elaine Wallace and Autumn Noel Wooten.

At Yellville-Summit, the graduation ceremony is set to begin at 7 at Panther Pavilion. The class of 2019 has 67 graduates, with Courtney Pochman as valedictorian and Michelle Bechtel as salutatorian.

At Calico Rock, ceremonies get underway at 7 in the elementary auditorium with 20 graduates.

Serving as valedictorian is Kenlee Killian, with co-salutatorians, Baylee Hicks and Connor Sanders.
