Firearm, threats lead to arrest

A Searcy County man, 34-year-old Donald D. Bruazard of Harriet, has been arrested following an incident Sunday when he allegedly threatened to shoot himself and another individual.

Searcy County Sheriff Kenny Cassell says deputies responded to a 911 call on Dogwood Lane.

Deputies found Bruazard in possession of a firearm and took him into custody.

During the investigation, it was learned the Searcy County man had also allegedly threatened the life of another individual prior to Sunday and was in possession of a firearm when those threats were made.

Bruazard has been charged with two counts of first-degree terroristic threatening and two counts of aggravated assault. Both are Class D felonies.
