The Mountain Home Lockeroom American Legion baseball team’s first tournament game of the season also ended up being their first loss of the year. The Lockeroom began tournament play in Russellville and fell to the host team 2-1.
Jim Strider suffered the loss on the mound. Asa Smith scored Mountain Home’s only run on an inside-the-park home run and had another base hit, and Tyler Guffey added two more hits.
The Lockeroom drops to 2-1 on the season.
