ABC/Mark LevineCarrie Underwood is in awe of her record number of CMT Music Awards wins, and she credits the fans for helping her get them.

Underwood scored two accolades at last night’s show: Her hit “Cry Pretty” claimed the night’s top honor for Video of the Year, while “Love Wins” was named Female Video of the Year. The awards show is fan-voted, and voting is a skill that Carrie knows her fan base definitely possesses.

“I constantly have people telling me they voted for me on Idol, and that was 14 years ago. So now there’s people that are like, ‘Ever since I was a little kid, I would vote for you.’ I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, have I been doing this for that long?'” she tells Entertainment Tonight. “But it’s just really cool that they’re still supporting me after all these years.”

Underwood now has a total of 20 CMT Music Awards, including seven for Video of the Year, making her the most decorated artist in history of the show. In addition to being the big winner on last night’s show, Carrie also performed her current single “Southbound” during the live telecast.
