ABC/Image Group LA(NOTE LANGUAGE) Maren Morris enjoyed working with One Direction member Niall Horan so much that she’s hoping to join forces with him again.
Maren joined Niall on the duet “Seeing Blind,” featured on Niall’s 2017 debut album Flicker in 2017. Maren then opened for Niall during his 2018 Flicker World Tour. Now, Maren hopes to continue their relationship.
“He and I became such great friends. Our bands became friends on the road last year,” Maren tells Entertainment Tonight. “I would love to write with him and do something in the future. He’s such a great guy. He’s a bada**.”
Of course, the “Girl” singer is no stranger to stepping outside the lines of country music. She was featured on the Elton John tribute album Restoration last year, and of course, she sang on the pop smash “The Middle” with Zedd and Grey. She also joins Sheryl Crow and Stevie Nicks on the new song “Prove You Wrong,” which she and Sheryl sang Wednesday night on the 2019 CMT Music Awards.
