It's not “Every Girl in This Town” that gets to sing with Don Henley, but Trisha Yearwood does

Gwendolyn RecordsTrisha Yearwood is teasing that her new album contains a new collaboration with Don Henley.

The two-time CMA Female Vocalist of the Year made the revelation this week during CMA Fest, after performing her 1992 hit, “Walkaway Joe,” which marked the first time she and the legend from the Eagles worked together.

“Don Henley sang on that record. That was cool,” she told the crowd at Blake Shelton’s Ole Red Nashville. “He might be on the new album too, just FYI.”

“Okay, so anyway, I’m not supposed to say that,” Trisha added. “Moving on.”

The two also sang the title track of Trisha’s 2001 album, Inside Out.

In addition, Trisha revealed we can expect her first album of all-new material since 2007 in late summer or early fall, before performing the record’s first single, “Every Girl in This Town.”

On Saturday, she’ll once again host Trisha’s Tailgate before husband Garth Brooks’ show at Mile High Stadium in Denver, before returning to Nashville to sing her new single Sunday night on the CMA Fest main stage at Nissan Stadium.
