The remodeling project at the Baxter County Detention Center will lead to the temporary suspension of inmate visitations. Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery says visitations will be halted beginning Monday.
Sheriff Montgomery states crews are preparing for the next phase of the renovations.
Sheriff Montgomery says while visitation will be unavailable at the detention center, inmates and their families will be able to access other forms of communication.
When the new lobby of the detention center is complete, the sheriff says it will make the experience for families easier.
