A Mountain Home man has died following a crash east of the city Saturday night. The Arkansas State Police identify the victim as 59-year-old James Willard Tomes.
The ASP report indicates Tomes’ vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway, he over-corrected and lost control of the vehicle, which then struck a dirt embankment.
The accident happened at 7:25 Saturday evening on State Highway 178 east of Mountain Home.
