ABC/Mark Levine If you’re gonna throw a “House Party,” who better to book for the entertainment than Sam Hunt?

That’s exactly what Bud Light has done, locking in the “House Party” hitmaker to play a live show in a real home September 19 in Calgary, Alberta.

This will be the second edition of the Bud Light House Party Tour in Canada, and it’ll be streamed live on Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter. You can stay tuned for more info via the Bud Light Canada socials.

Back in the States, Music City is buzzing because Sam’s rumored to be working on new music.

At the same time, Sam’s stripped-down website is sending a cryptic message: It’s simply a white background with black type, with only the main page and another featuring his music videos.

On the home page is a sole quote from Abraham Lincoln: “I walk slowly, but I never walk backwards.”

That’s perhaps a reference to the time it’s taken Sam to deliver new music. He hasn’t released a studio album since 2014’s multiple-platinum Montevallo, and his last single was “Downtown’s Dead,” which came out in May of last year.
