Power has been restored to most customers following thunderstorms that moved through the area Sunday.

North Arkansas Electric Cooperative had nearly 200 customers out in the Clarkridge area where crews had to replace five poles. Nearly 80 customers were without power in the Buffalo City area due to broken poles. Two broken poles in the Gamaliel area knocked out power to about 50 customers. At 10 Sunday night, 341 customers were without power. The co-op’s outage viewer shows less than ten customers are still out Monday morning.

Entergy Arkansas also had numerous outages Sunday. Their outage map shows 73 customers still without power in Marion County, 36 in Stone County, five in Boone County and two in Searcy County.

No reports of any major damage have been received following the storms.

We picked up 1.77 inches of rain at the KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot Studios. The two-day total is 4.43 inches, which brings our monthly total up to 9.57 inches. That makes it the third wettest June in Mountain Home history, with six days left in the month.
