CMT goes Red, White & Blue to air “Let Freedom Sing!” live from Nashville for the first time

CMT CMT kicks off Red, White and Blue Week on Wednesday night at 10 p.m. ET with the premiere of Hometown Heroes.

In the one-hour special, Brantley GilbertChris Janson, and RaeLynn each travel to different parts of the country to honor three different military families.

Then on Thursday, CMT will televise Nashville’s annual Let Freedom Sing! Independence Day celebration for the very first time.  

The 90-minute special starts at 10 p.m. ET with a one-hour musical set from Brett Eldredge.

Then at 11 p.m. ET, you’ll be able to see one of the largest fireworks displays in the country, live from Music City. CMT will go commercial-free for half an hour to air the pyrotechnics uninterrupted, accompanied by music from the Nashville Symphony.

After the show wraps, it’ll immediately re-air in its entirety starting at 11:30 p.m. ET.
