Wayfair/Nicole GerulatWhat would your house look like if Trisha Yearwood decorated it?

Now you can find out, as the lifestyle maven and two-time CMA Female Vocalist of the Year launches her Trisha Yearwood Home Collection x Birch Lane.

If you’re not familiar with Birch Lane, it’s the arm of Wayfair that’s devoted solely to traditional and classic design. For Trisha, the focus was comfort.

“I’m drawn to homes that feel comfortable,” the Georgia native explains. “For me, there’s nothing worse than walking into a stunning living room, but being afraid to sit on the furniture! I think sometimes people think comfortable means messy… but I disagree.”

“I think we’ve redefined casual, elegant comfort with our furniture…” Trisha adds. “I’m very proud that you can walk into a room full of Trisha Yearwood furniture and be blown away by how beautiful it is, and still plop down on a sofa or oversized chair and feel like you’re on a vacation. It’s a good combo!”

Trisha says she particularly loves the light blue accent pieces in her Birch Lane line, namely the Key West Sideboard.

And if you’re hesitant to trust yourself with decorating, Trisha says you need to just dive in.

“I say you have to jump in,” she goes on. “Garth [Brooks] and I built a house together — a first for both of us… and it took me awhile to pick finishes, colors, et cetera, because I was so worried about making a mistake.”

“I had to learn that I had to just jump in. My advice is trust your instincts. You know what you like. Let that lead you… You’ve got this!” Trisha says, quoting her latest hit, “Every Girl in This Town.”

You can check out Trisha’s Birch Lane collection online now. Her Every Girl album arrives August 30.
