Former NASA consultant kicks off BC Library’s Try Something New Nights

Former NASA consultant and astronomer Kevin Manning will kick off the Donald W. Reynolds Library’s series of evening workshops Thursday. The workshop will be held from 7 until 9.On select days during the month of July, the library will host evening workshops designed to assist patrons with learning a new hobby or skill.Manning’s Try Something New Night is titled “Look Up to the Stars.” His program is for ages 8 and up. The class will take participants on a journey through space, as Manning guides it through a viewing of celestial bodies with the assistance of telescopes.
