After four days off for the all-star break, the St. Louis Cardinals return to action at home Friday night to begin a three-game series against Arizona.
St. Louis is two games back in the National League Central division where the five teams are separated by just 4 1/2 games. Arizona is in second place in the N.L. West, but trail the Dodgers by 13 1/2 games.
Adam Wainwright (5-7) starts for the Cardinals, while Robbie Ray (6-6) goes for the Diamondbacks.
Game time is 7:15 with the pre-game at 6:20 on KTLO-AM.
