The Mountain Home 12-year-olds had mixed results Sunday in the Cal Ripken Southwest Regional Tournament at Siloam Springs.
The Fury began the day by falling to Bryant 1-0. Ian Ellison suffered the loss as he pitched 3 1/3 innings, struck out five batters and gave up four hits, no walks and a run. Maddox Carney had the only base hit for the Fury.
Mountain Home bounced back in a big way as they routed Paragould 12-2 in their first elimination game. Carney led the Fury’s offense with two hits. Jackson Corp was named the player of the game.
