One suspect is in custody, and authorities are searching for another suspect following the shooting of two juveniles Tuesday morning in Douglas County. According to Douglas County Sheriff Chris Degase, 34-year-old Donnie Brown of Ava was captured in the late morning hours, and 32-year-old Cody Franklin of Ava is still on the run.
Franklin, also known as Alex or Alexander, is wanted for questioning in relation to the shootings. Sheriff Degase says he may be in a blue 2011 Hyundai Sonata with the license plate number 2GA416, crosstagged to a 2002 Dodge pickup truck, or a white 1996 Honda Accord four-door with tinted windows and the plate number CP6B8N. Franklin is considered to be armed and dangerous, and his direction of travel is currently unknown.
