Tommy Gattis of Mountain Home was sentenced to six years in prison with four to serve and two suspended after pleading guilty to drug-related charges during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday.

The 28-year-old Baxter County man was arrested in late March when a Mountain Home Police officer stopped a vehicle Gattis was driving and found drugs, including a substance field testing positive for methamphetamine.

A petition to revoke Gattis’ probation in a 2018 drug case was dismissed by the state.

His charges in the earlier case stemmed from a mid-February 2018 probation compliance check at a residence occupied by Rebecca Bryniarski and Gattis, described as her live-in boyfriend.

Officers found drugs and drug paraphernalia in the home, some inside a children’s toy box. Gattis was put on probation for five years in the earlier case.
