A Fulton County man, 44-year-old Todd E. Lemon of Salem, has been arrested and charged with rape, a Class “Y” felony.
According to the probable cause affidavit filed Monday, the charge stems from a series of alleged incidents in 2016. The then 14-year-old victim told law enforcement Lemon had been sexually assaulting her for more than a year and had threatened to kill a member of her family if she told anyone.
Lemon was interviewed in 2016, along with the victim’s mother. Both of them denied the allegations.
In April, the alleged victim’s mother was re-interviewed, leading to Lemon’s arrest.
Lemon’s bond was set at $50,000.
Online court records indicate the case is being investigated by Arkansas State Police.
