On Friday, Midland‘s Mark Wystrach and his wife-to-be Ty Haney announced on Instagram they’re awaiting the birth of their first child.

Now, Mark reveals they expect to become parents in the fall.

“My beautiful fiancée and I are gonna have a beautiful baby girl in November,” he declares.

“It’s all come aligned at the perfect time in both our lives,” continues Mark. “And we’re both just equally terrified and equally, absolutely thrilled to go through this together and to bring a child into this world and to start a little beautiful family.”

But Mark has no doubt he and Ty are up to the task.

“Someone once told me it’s like drinking life in through a fire hydrant,” he jokes.  “But to be honest with you, Tyler and I are both hyperactive. We’re both incredibly high energy, and we’re both much better off when we’ve got a lot on our plates. And we both rise up to the challenge.”

Mark adds, “I think this is just gonna be [not only] the greatest challenge, but [also] the most fulfilling and probably the most scary and the most fun challenge we’ve ever been through.”

Mark and Ty got engaged in May, after celebrating their one-year anniversary in April.

Midland’s sophomore album, Let It Roll, is set to arrive August 23, several months before Mark and Ty’s new baby.
