A Mountain Home man was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly broke into three storage buildings and then threw a water bottle striking two people. Thirty-two-year-old Thomas Micheal Forrest is facing a felony charge of residential burglary and a misdemeanor count of battery in the third degree, with bond set at $7,500.

According to the probable cause affidavit, a sergeant from the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office arrived at an undisclosed residence to take a report of three storage buildings which had been broken into. As the sergeant pulled into the parking area of the residence, he observed Forrest entering the house and a short time later back out of the doorway with a water bottle in his hand. Forrest then threw the bottle, striking a female at the house in the face before ricocheting and hitting a male at the home in the eye.

In addition to the latest charges, a hold has been placed on Forrest from another law enforcement agency.
