With the new school year less than 10 days away, the Mountain Home Kindergarten will have a big event at Cooper Park to welcome its new students. The 2019 Mountain Home Kinder Mixer is scheduled for Saturday from 11 until 1 at the L.C. Sammons Youth Center.
Mountain Home Kindergarten Principal Janet Wood says the school is always looking for parent involvement and engagement, and the Kinder Mixer is 100 percent parent-driven.

In addition to the meet-and-greet, the Kinder Mixer will have inflatables, face painting and other activities in the gym. Lunch and refreshments will be provided courtesy of Little Caesars Pizza.
Wood says the event is also an opportunity for incoming students to meet the other children they’ll share classes with.
