Appointments are being made with the Marion County Equalization Board for property owners seeking adjustments to their personal property tax rates. Appointments are being set for Thursday, Aug. 15 through Tuesday, Aug. 20 beginning each day at 10.
County equalization boards hear from property owners regarding taxes, are entrusted to examine property tax records and make any needed adjustments. County taxpayers may appeal the board’s decisions to the county court.
