MH man arrested on drug charges with 5-year-old in vehicle

A Mountain Home man, 23-year-old Kendrick Sebree, has been arrested on felony drug charges and misdemeanor fleeing by vehicle with a small child in his car.According to the probable cause affidavit, Sebree was arrested after pulling into a driveway along McClure Lane Wednesday evening.

A member of the Mountain Home Police Department patrolling on South Cardinal Street recognized Sebree behind the wheel of a vehicle and was aware his driver’s license was suspended for DWI, and he had an active search waiver on file.

The patrolman initiated his emergency lights on East Ninth Street near South Cardinal Street, with Sebree continuing on, passing multiple areas to pull over.

The patrolman initiated his siren on East Ninth near Waverly Road, with Sebree continuing onto McClure, again passing multiple areas to pull over.

When Sebree exited his vehicle in the driveway, he was placed under arrest. A search of his person allegedly revealed drug paraphernalia and a crystalline substance, later identified as methamphetamine. During the search, Sebree allegedly threw a cigarette pack on the ground where additional drug paraphernalia was reportedly found.

A search of the vehicle allegedly led to additional meth and paraphernalia.

Sebree’s 5-year-old son riding in the rear seat of the vehicle was released to his mother.

En route to the Baxter County Detention Center, Sebree advised he was having a heart attack. The patrolman pulled over, with EMS personnel from Baxter Regional Medical Center responding. The suspect was taken to BRMC and admitted.

Online jail records indicate he was booked into the Baxter County Detention Center Thursday afternoon at 2:15.

He has been charged with two felony drug possession counts, as well as misdemeanor counts of fleeing by vehicle, endangering the welfare of a minor and driving with DWI suspended license.

Sebree’s bond was set at $15,000.
