The Mountain Home Police Department’s four-legged member is set to receive a new set of body armor. Harmon, the department’s K9, will be given a bullet- and stab-protective vest courtesy of a charitable donation from non-profit organization “Vested Interest in K9s, Inc.”

Harmon’s vest is set to arrive within eight to 10 weeks. “In memory of K9 Benga, Mountain Home, AR Police Department” will be the message embroidered on the vest.

Vested Interest in K9s, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) organization located in East Taunton, Massachusetts.
