Members of the North Arkansas Electric Cooperative are reporting a new twist on scamming attempts.A spokesperson for the cooperative says NAEC received reports Tuesday morning of a man visiting members’ homes in Mountain Home asking for money to fund right-of-way trimming.
NAEC says the man is not associated with the cooperative or its contractors.
The incidents have been reported to the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office.
