Authorities are searching for the driver involved in a one-vehicle rollover accident Thursday evening. According to the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, the owner of the pickup truck located at the intersection of County Roads 73 and 74 is Richard Branscum of Calico Rock. His license is suspended for DUI-drugs, and he is wanted on felony charges in Mountain View.

The deputy states in the incident report the truck was traveling toward the intersection when it left the roadway. There were reportedly no skid marks indicating the driver was unaware the truck was leaving the road. It appears that caused it to flip and come to a rest on its side, but the driver left the scene without notifying authorities.

A passer-by later notified law enforcement of the accident, and emergency personnel responded. The deputy says it appeared the the driver broke the rear window of the truck to get out and was slightly bleeding.

The truck was totaled in the 8 p.m. accident, and the license plate was impounded due to it being suspended for a DWI act. The vehicle was towed with a hold placed on it for the driver.
