A Cotter man, 25-year-old Cody Sallee, charged with terroristic threatening, will undergo another psychological evaluation — this one arranged and paid for by the public defenders’ office. Results of an exam arranged by the state have been submitted to the court, but Mark Cooper, deputy public defender, said those results are being challenged by the defense.

Sallee was arrested in early March when he entered a local hair salon and told an individual at the business he had been chosen by God, and she would die that day within hours. He told the woman she would soon “be in heaven” and have “super powers.”

All activities in the case will cease until the latest psychological evaluation is completed.
