In addition to preseason football, Mountain Home also has cross country and tennis scheduled for Thursday.
The Blue-Gold preseason cross country meet is scheduled for 6 p.m. behind the high school cafeteria. It’s mandatory for runners in sixth through 12th grades, but family members, friends, classmates and members of the community are also invited to run the 1 1/2-mile race. Participants need to arrive by 5:15 in running gear, but no uniforms. A parent meeting will be held following the meet.
Mountain Home’s junior varsity tennis teams will be on the home courts, as they meet Bergman. Action begins at 4 at the Mountain Home Athletic Club on Coley Drive.
