The Aerosmith frontman tweeted a video captioned, “Someone got a special encore.” It features footage of Tyler in a multi-colored Aerosmith satin jacket, playing keyboard in his hotel living room while his Yorkie, Butch Cassidy, sits perched next to him on a pillow.

That encore would have come just after the band’s show in Springfield, Massachusetts, their third of four shows at the city’s Mass Mutual Center.

Of course, if you know the Demon of Screamin’, you know that every day is Dog Day. Steven Tyler is known for bringing Butch Cassidy — and his sidekick, the Sundance Kid — almost everywhere he goes, including late-night TV appearances. When the singer was Seth Meyers‘ guest in 2016, he did the interview with both pups nestled next to him.

After their fourth Springfield, MA show this Thursday, Aerosmith will enjoy a little time off before beginning the next installment of their Deuces Are Wild residency at the Park MGM Theater in Las Vegas on September 21st.
