Queen fans need to get ready, Freddie: Hard Rock International is launching its annual celebration of Freddie Mercury‘s life and legacy, with a Freddie-inspired milkshake.

The restaurant chain’s Freddie for a Week promotion begins September 5 — Freddie Mercury’s birthday — and runs through September 12.  The promotion raises funds for The Mercury Phoenix Trust, which was created by Queen’s Brian May and Roger Taylor and their manager Jim Beach to fight HIV/AIDS.

This year, some of the money will be raised by sales of the Freddie’s Mustache Milkshake, featuring bourbon and dark rum with vanilla ice cream, dark chocolate sauce and white chocolate whipped cream — topped with a chocolate brownie in the shape of Freddie’s iconic ‘stache.  There’ll also be a non-alcoholic version available.

Afraid all those calories will turn you into a “Fat-Bottomed Girl,” or guy? You can also help the cause by buying a wearable Freddie mustache in Hard Rock Cafe’s worldwide, as well as limited edition t-shirts and pins featuring an iconic image of Freddie onstage.

The 2019 “Freddie for a Week” promotion is the seventh year that Hard Rock Cafe has teamed up with The Mercury Phoenix Trust, and is the first time the promotion’s run for an entire week.
